  • Is My Box Broken / Probe Voltage Readings ( HELP !! )

    I have a brand new Riff Box 2. It is labeled made in Sept 2016.
    When I select START PROBING the voltage readings are very high and do not change. This occurs with or without a rj45 probe cable connected.
    SEE SCREENSHOT.

    In advanced settings If I enable the 4.2v output or 5.0v USB Power The LED's light up.
    The box updates the firmware without error. (Firmware Update Button).
    The USB connection from the computer to the box appears to work correctly.
    The box is recognized and the com port is assigned and the software functions.

    When I select start probing the green LED blinks and continues to blink until i end probing.

    Is there a way to repair this box. Or is this an issue with JTAG Manager Version 1.63 Software? Or is this issue windows 10?

    With no cable connected there should be no voltage reading Correct ??
    I am unable to do anything with the RIFF Box at this time because I cant probe the jtag points.

    Can Someone Please Please help me out here !!

    Hi,
    Firmware part responsible for probing function in v2 box is not optimized yet.
    This is not a hardware problem, so no worries, box is okay.

    Problem is on TODO list and will be addressed in following weeks.
