PC detect as a Malfunction

When i plug the usb cable to phone and if i switch on its says malfunction.What will be the problem.

try uninstalling USB drivers first.. and re-install again... if its not work create another USER profile with ADMIN facilities in windows and try..

if you have branded PC(dell,compaq,e.t.c.) if some wrong with cable(short e.t.c.) PC enable protection and not damage usb port.
try see also if you not have short in phone,short beetwen cable pins e.t.c.
