Can unlock A711, but not A801. Why?

Hi,

I used Samsung Rocker.

Firstly I unlocked a A711. I entered *#782872# into my phone and it said:
Qualcomm USB Configured
Plz Reconnect the Cable.0

I think then it asked for the driver and I located the Qualcomm_driver directory. I then connected my phone and unlocked.
ALL GOOD.

But, then I tried to unlock a A801. I entered *#782872# into my phone and it said:
Press Back Key or # key
TMCommand: 1118

I connected it and the computer found new hardware "SAMSUNG CDMA Technologies". I located the Qualcomm_driver directory but the driver did not install.

I could not install the driver.

What is wrong? I tried to connect without pressing the Confirm button and I also tried to connect after pressing the Confirm button. But the computer keeps wanting to find the driver for "SAMSUNG CDMA Technologies".

Hope someone can help.

Friend! I don't know this Model Here I don't
have this Model, but in one post one member
put here one solution.
When you connect Phone to Computer phone ask
for any Driver? If ask you need install samsung
Pc studio.I think this Model need E210 Combo Cable.
Use combo cable e210, selecting the usb conection
mode as pc studio and entering in the phone
*#726872# once you can get the menu working.

You can also use combo cables, and then you dont need entering qualcom mode.

Like HAMAS said...USe combo cable..it's better and more reliable way to unlock QUALCOMM models, first enter in CDMA mode with Hamas' code so later proceed to unlock....if you can access to phone menu enter in Connection option and change MASS STORAGE to PC Studio.....

Can you please confirm is the Combo cable the one with both USB and RJ45 connectors? Do I plug it both into the box (RJ45 connection) and also the USB port?

Friend! In all Combo Cables Youb Just need
Connect RJ45 to Box (in this case Rocker) and
USB to any USB Computer Port, not in any Hub.
If you see Legija Post For unlock that Model you
only need Use this cable and don't need put in
Qualcomm Mode. make Direct Unlock.
