Hi all

I am the owner of a used 2005 Land Rover Freelander TD4 (in Italy). Since the battery has recently been disconnected the radio needs the code.
Message is: CODE: ----

Land Rover Italy want 50 Euro for giving me the code, which I believe is unfair.

I understand from what I have seen in other threads that the code can be retrieved from the radio serial number. Silly question but... well, where do I find the serial no? Do I have to remove the radio? If so, any instructions to do it?

Second question, the radio manual also refers to a security ID associate to the vehicle that can also be entered, but I am unclear if this is related to the code.

Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
