I have a VDO CDR 500 and need the code for it just bought car and code in the book is wrong serial number GM050021314952 ...I am new to this site any advice would be helpful

Realise it's an old radio, but would appreciate any and all help in getting my radio unstuck and back to normal functionality. Battery reset and now it's stuck in 'SAFE' mode.

Details are as follows:

Made in Germany
