Your second number makes no difference
You have been given the corrrect code.
Your radio has most likely been recoded to another number.
It will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to be decoded/recoded.

1...1355 is the correct code for PHACDFW8012211Originally posted by BillyboymeasuresDidn't work I paid another company £8.99 for a code and that didnt work either. Any other ideas please. Thanks for your time...
If this does not work (and your quoted Serial Number is correct ) then your radio may have been recoded.
This will now be a job for a Radio Decoding Service.
2...Multi-Posting the same request on any Forum is not necessary, time-wasting and annoying.
Post ONCE only as per the rules

1355 is the correct code for the numbers quoted so check your numbers again. If correct then it looks as though your radio may have been recoded to a different number. If so, you better visit your local center for unlocking your radio!

Thanks Dekster. I'll take it for coding.
Thanks Dekster.Originally posted by Dekster View PostYour radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code that can be calculated (using a serial number ) anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
(Note ...not beginning with CL.)
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio.

A Radio Decoding Service will normally be cheaper..Expect to pay around £20 / £25Originally posted by harv707 View PostMany thanks for the info. Had a feeling that it wasnt going to be a simple solution. Will just have to put an aftermarket stereo in its place as just been quoted £45 by Citreon to marry up to vin no, and even then they said it might not work. Kind regards. Mike
