I have 1998 holden Astra, recently my car battery is dead, and my radio locked,

My radio is blaupunkt 420 No: 92 057 948

serial number :BP8390W0775210

I only found serial no, couldn't find part no.

Hi!

I have a working Blaupunkt RNS in my old Sharan. The car will have a few days long repair and I haven't found the security code. Do I need to enter it after a shutdown if i put it back into the same car? (The CD30MP3 in my opel was working fine after electric shutdown)

Sorry....your code will only be available from someone with access to the VW Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free from anywhere on the Internet

Are you sure you are using the correct Code Entry Instructions as many radios do not use the direct pressing of numbered buttons for each digit of the code.

They require multi pressing of buttons 1 > 4....so your 7 will mean pressing button 4 seven times

Just watch the display

However if yours uses direct entry then try code 4441
