My girlfriend needs a code for the stereo in her Citroen Saxo.

The two codes she has found are:

02 00971 607173 3 (under the barcode)
96 232 272 80 DAD (on top of the stereo)

I don`t recognise the format of these numbers

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

I think these Porsche BP radios are difficult to decode

Try 9819 once only.

My battery went flat in my citroen xsara, x reg. I've not got the radio code, and I'm now up to 4 incorrect entries.
The stickers are almost all missing from the radio, but there are a few numbers left. Hopefully someone will be able to use them to find a code:nonod:

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
(Note ...not beginning with CL.)

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio
