I was wondering if anyone can help me unlock the radio/cd code for a Blaupunkt from a Vectra. i live in Australia and just purchased a CD 30 and computer display from a UK Breaker. im hoping it will work on my vehicle, the Breaker guy said it would if installed together, buy he didn't have the radio code.

this unit does not actually require a code. If you own a late model Vauxhall or Opel, then you may be familiar with the CARPASS that shows the "Unlock" or "PUK" code used for vehicle diagnostics and programming, and it is often this vehicle specific code number that is described when people are advertising their radio for sale. This 4 digit number is unique to the vehicle, and will not allow the radio to be used in anything other than the original car.

You will often hear the term "Married" radio, and this is because the stereo is programmed with encrypted data that will only allow it to communicate with the original vehicle and no other, and the equipment used to program the stereo and the car together is called a Tech2 programmer. The Tech2 plugs into the diagnostic socket of the car and can then be used to perform various programming routines, one of which is to allow the radio and car to communicate with each other

This stereo is specifically coded to the engine immobiliser system of the vehicle it came out of using the very sophisticated CAN-BUS system technology. When it is first powered up, it will communicate with the engine immobiliser, and a message of "WAIT" will appear whilst this process is in operation. If communication has been successfull, it may prompt for the code to be entered. However, if plugged into another vehicle other than the original one, it will not recognise the engine immobiliser and may not allow a code to be entered and simply come up with an error message of "CANCHECK". This does mean though, that it cannot be easily transferred from one vehicle to another without some serious programming.

I thright to unlock de carradio white the code, but it didn't work.
I turn on the radio and in the screen says CANCHECK, then i enter in the code.
Am I doing something wrong? Please help.

I had the radio in my Alfa 147 and want too put it in my boat.
