Thank you for your help but it doesn't work. The fact is that the user manual says I have to press the "menu" button for at least 8 seconds, then it will be shown a legend that says "vid ----", but well, it never appear, in stead of it, it shows "CLIP-ON". If you know what it means I would appreciate if you let me know.

This radio does not use the Renault Security Number system and the Serial Number RG597W11061821 is not in the database....so this code will only be available from the Main Dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service .

It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

I dont find J18T-SECURITY at Radio. I`m finding only YMC005480 I SSC.

This radio does not use the Renault Security Number system and the Serial Number RG597W11061821 is not in the database....so this code will only be available from the Main Dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service .

It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
