Now all I get is 'ERROR' ! does this mean a new radio or should I buy a new car!

2638 is the correct code for the numbers quoted.

Make sure you press the final button that stores the code ( ¬ or 6 or 5 ) for at least 10 seconds

Hmmm thats the number I was given but it doesn't work... I guess I may be entering it wrong but I have studied the instructions very carefully on here and in my manual. I enter the numbers and confirm with each one but I don't get the final beep on the final number or at least if I do nothing happens and the numbers cotinue flashing?

Hello I am a new member and seem to have encountered the same problem with my 1.5 diesel modus 2005 model. I have been duped by a fake outfit to whom I paid for a code but it doesn't work!

I put a new battery on a couple of weeks ago and now my radio is dead.
