It says 22dc594/61L on type no but ends with 51L on model number if that would make a difference?

Does this mean it's not the correct code? I've got plenty of stereos to swap it with but I will lose the cd changer and steeating wheel controls

Leave the radio SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset This can take as long as an hour or even longer

as an aside the the on/off button on this radio has an intermittent fault and sometimes takes a few presses to make it work. Is anyone aware of an easy fix for this ?
