I think it wants resting. Can any one guide me how to reset it. please

You have been given a code so if this does not work then you will have to obtain it from a BMW Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service.

A radio code should not affect starting the car.

You must have done something else to cause that problem.

It is on waiting mode. I wait 2 hours with ignition On but no result. Press M button for a long but still on waiting mode. What did i do now plz

Please note that code entry is only possible when " CODE - - - - " is shown in the display. If the unit is codelocked it will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible.


Code Entry as Follows:
Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" CODE - - - - "
Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press RH Tuning Button " > " to Enter
