There are 2 long numbers on different labels:

On one label it has:

Serial is: 167C1769

The other label is:

Thanks for the help, my problem was slightly different though.

I had at previous times entered wrong codes, after three times the "wait code" message appears.

This will let you wait 60 minutes before being able to input another code.

And here is the important bit, the radio has to be ON for the minutes to count.

Which is what i did, entered the code and it worked brilliantly.

Wow, that was quick.

Running into another problem though, if i power on the radio i get a "code wait" and when i press the numbers nothing happens?

All help appreciated.

Code Entry Instructions

After switching on the unit the display will show 'JVC' followed by 'ENTER CODE NUMBER' which will flash.

Enter the code using the numbers 1 - 7

Once the last digit has been entered the code will save.

The unit will now operate.
