  • Galaxy S5 data recovery from NAND

    Hi guys,

I have a Galaxy S5 (G900F) that I need to read the NAND contents.

How can I do that with Riff-box? Is there a guide to solder wires on the motherboard so I don't desolder the chip?

I hope we can get this done as it will help me update my subscription.

    Thank you in advance,

    George

    Hi,
SM-G900F uses eMMC chip as storage and You can do chip off or do ISP connection.
If You have access to phone and it's working, You can DD mmcblk0 to microsd card, which would be easiest way.

Take note that userdata can be encrypted, depending on installed android version and options active.

On RIFF software, press ctr+f and enter G900F into search box. If You havent installed all available packages, go to box settings -> check for updates dialog and download it first.

ISP pinout is available on Resurrection TAB, "Interface Pinout" button.

Use eMMC/SD tab to read full backup:

The phone is not working unfortunately.

So this means I have to go with ISP method right? I will update the box and try over the weekend.

      Thank you Legija.
