  • ERROR: User Area Forced Erasure

Hello, I am able to read an eMMC chip with RIFF Box 2, then analyzing the .bin image, there is some data written in it, next I tried to erase all of that data under "eMMC/SD Access" -> "Advanced" and finally "User area forced erased" (bomb icon), receiving the coming error:

Erasing User Area and resetting Password...ERROR
ERROR: Erasing User Area and resetting Password Failed (ERR[006E], POS[0003])

Any suggestions on how to fix it or other way to erase the eMMC chip data?

Maybe I needed to specify that the eMMC is chipped-off, so it is only recognized by Windows through RIFF Box software. The chip itself is made by Micron Semiconductors, then I don't really understood your suggestion, sorry for that. Can you be more specific? Thanks
