Hi,
I've got a Samsung Galaxy S4 SGH-M919 that is really frustrating me. I recently replaced the motherboard, and it gives me a "Sim Card Not Detected". I put my SIMple mobile SIM in - no problem. It's got a thicker chip, with wider surface area, so it seems like a contact issue.
I recently bought a new SIM, a new SIM holder, and a new (used) motherboard (with android 4.3 - I want to keep my eFuses and root it).
It seems clear that this is the SIM slot itself, but I have also heard it may be a software issue. I have found a new SIM slot and will use my SMD skills to put it on the board.

Has anyone else had success repairing this issue? It's really pissing me off. I have done several full dumps of my eMMC, if needed
