  • Support for greater than 16 gb phone question?

    Hi,

I apologize if this question has been answered. I did not see mention of this in the user manual or the forum.

If you manually select the size of the flash memory (currently the highest is 16 gb), how can you acquire an image larger than that using the manual settings?

If I were to use the RIFF Box for a 32 gb phone or greater, how can one manually select the appropriate memory size if it's larger than 16 gb?

    Thanks!

You can type in address range or size.

Thank you sir -- I can't find where I can type in the size.

When I select 16 GB, the address end length says "0x000400000000"

If I wanted to select 32 GB, 64 GB, etc., where could I put that in the space? How could I find the end address length value in hex?

      Thank you for your help!

LOL If You want to read full flash, simply tick "autofullflash size".
Or, learn how to convert binary to hex and vice versa.

here is another side of medal

          - at first, as it known, RIFF Manager make a temp file in WinOS while reading dump, so it need have enough free space in disk C:\
          - second moment, what reason reading dump length biggest than 8GB - for recover user files via explorer or global image?

          Resume,
          - it would be best way to put a temp file into destination folder, even any disk different from C:\
          - we need internal on-air explorer tool EXT3/EXT4/etc inside Manager.

          BR.
