MotoRocker for Ultima Box :)

Hello,
I am glad to represent the MotoRocker finaly . :) The very first public release we can expect next week, for now its under beta testing. (Thanks, i dont need beta testers for now :D )

Some of the key features:

- Read/Write full firmware from all models WITHOUT test point,
- Fast read/write language pack
- PDS Repair for all supported models
- User error protection - You cannot fuk phone without confirmation :)

To connect Ultima Box to PC, You will have to prepare or buy USB cable. We tested Profilic PL2303 and FTDI cables.

Cable has to be connected to RJ45 connector on Ultima Box. Schematics and pinout will be available in short time.

MotoRocker is finished and ready. :) What remains to be finished is new upgrade server, and ofcourse files conversion to MotoRocker format.

This job will take few days, but we want to make it perfect and user friendly, so even beginers could use it.

So far we added this :

- Around 100 diferent models and firmware versions supported for flashing and firmware backup, without use of test points.

- PDS Rebuild for following models and firmwares:

LTE2 : V3i (R479), V3c (R4441D), V3iTunes (R47A), V3RoHS (R4515), V235 (R3512), L7 (R4513), L7 iTunes (R4517), L7C (R44419), V360 (R4513), V360i (R44419)

Rainbox POG 3G :
C975, C980, V975, V980, V1050, V1075, V1150, E770, E1000, E1070, V3x, V3x Refresh (R24, R26, R245, R26LD, R25221, R252211, R25221LD, R252211LD, R25227LD)

And numerous old LTE phones. :D

As You can see, this is MOST Complete tool for motorola now.

Lets hope we will finish upgrade server fast, so we can start with rock 'n' roll. :)

W208, W220 are ODM as i know, and i am not sure if i will include any ODM phone to MotoRocker.

Others are LTE2, and i need samples, ofcourse. For now as i know available phones on market are A1200 and K1. Also E2 , but there is no locked units yet.
Can You tell me is there chance to get any of these ?

Where the pin out [RJ45] of Ultima? I'm try to make a cable by myself.

Rocker software is uploaded to turbo support. For those who havent received cables, here's pinout:

Box LCD UP, right to left: 2 RX, 3 TX, 7&8 GND .

You can use Siemens profilic usb cable, or FTDI Unibox.

you can use an FTDI based box, or maybe if you have USB to serial cable, you may cut of the connector end, and then connect an RJ 45 and connect to the RX TX and GND on the cut end of the FTDI cable, dont forget to reverse then connection too fron the RJ 45 you are connecting to the cut off cable, RX should go to TX on the cut off cable and TX should go to the RX and then GND to GND.

The UNI USB universal box can be use as well.. you need 2 RJ45 connected back to back following the pinout giving, again dont forget you need to reverse RX and TX as above.

But this function is already included. Though in harder way - you have to flash SHX file and then read it with Rocker. :D

Download PST and RSD Lite from support area. Those are Motorola enginiering softwares, they can flash SHX.
Anyway , flashing with Rocker is much more slower. But let's see what the future will bring..... ;)

till now it is the most supported Moto sollution :)

Different flash file's available in support.. for rocker and for normal both seperated... rocker only support rocker format files..
