Flash the phone with this fw :

Firmware to UNLOCK u880

Insert a NO 3 SIM .

The phone will display "Usim Locked"

Pres "SOS" key WITHOUT any other key. The phone will restart..and it will be unlocked ( sia in 2g che in 3g ) !!

Remember : When tou flash the phone, you must select "erase efs".

Required to do a successful flash:
LG u880 (10a or 10b)
The boxed or 3rd party USB Data cable (NOTE: You cannot use Bluetooth!)
The u880 pack (download links above)

The guide beginnings! :
Run Setup.exe to install the Windows USB driver for LG U880 if you haven't done so already or from the CD.
Plug in your phone with NO SIM and using the boxed USB cable that came with the phone to the computer and when your computer detects it open "LGMDP_H3G.exe" and select your u880.
A window will open, click browse next to the option and select these files:
AMSS MODEM IMAGE: U880-CODE-MUSEDR-V10b-Feb-08-2006-H3G-IT.bin
MEDIA IMAGE: U880-MEDIA-V10b_wm-FEB-08-2006-H3G-UK.bin ** See Below First **
MODULE IMAGE: U880-MODULE-V10b_final_unlock_kller_4_all_unlock.bin
Now MEDIA IMAGE: U880-MEDIA-V10b_wm-FEB-08-2006-H3G-UK.bin you must select the correct file for your country in order for this to work. The pack comes with the UK one so you must use a hex editor if your from a differant country to change the file.

UK: ** Included in the Pack ** (0)
Italy: 1
Hong Kong: 2
Sweden: 3
Australia: 4
Austria: 5
Denmark: 6
Other: Unknown at this time suggestion would be to try 0 (UK in file!) or 7
Select/Tick the option to Erase EFS from the bottom and now sit your phone down and hit start.. It takes around 10 - 15 minutes when it has restarted a few times and it says "Download Complete" or "Download Done" unplug the USB cable from your phone.
Take off the battery. Put in a 2G sim like an O2-UK one as I tested this with.
When it comes up it says "USIM LOCKED". Press this on the keypad (nothing will show on screen).142358#*# (or press the SOS key on your phone IF you have it - UK Models don't have it unlocked) if done right your phone will restart and you will be shown the operator at the bottom (O2-UK for example).
Enjoy!
(Yes 3 Sim Cards still work with no code - just enter the code again with a 2G sim when you turn your phone back on and bingo - still working! )

NOW..the way to make to become OUR SOLUTION A UNIVERSAL SOLUTION FOR ANY u880 :

You must know where is phone from,, UK, AU, DU etc... written at the
end of the phone ID when you connect it to flasher in Normal Mode. (Not
emergency mode 5+2).

Then, you must flash Media file for that country, any version will do even
if your modem is 10a and your media is 10b phone will work. If you have not
media file for your phone's country, you can hex edit your media file to
change 1 byte and make it support for your country.

In hex editor, search string: "Flex.ini"
then you will see something like this

country code 0:UK, 1:IT, 2:HK, 3:SW(sweden), 4U(Australia), 5:AU(Austria), 6E(denmark)
FLEX_COUNTRY_CODE=4

Just change "FLEX_COUNTRY_CODE=4" to 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6

example

FLEX_COUNTRY_CODE=0
for UK

FLEX_COUNTRY_CODE=1
For Italy

and so on, and so forth...

Thank you mobi3 for your reply. Can anyone help me I flashed my phone and now i cant get into my phone i can only get to the 3 sign at the beginnning when you turn it on and it wont let me get past it what can i do please help me?
