PDS Repair Procedure

Hello,
Here is short manual for PDS Repair function with Ultima Box :

Download and install "PDS_Repair_v3.usp" from Ultima Box server.
The UBOX Client will create following files and folders in Your USB Flash disk:

Disk Root\Motorola\Repair\PDS_Repair.ubs
Disk Root\Motorola\rpFiles\

Now You can download PDS Repair packs from Turbo Support. On Flash disk, create subfolders in "Disk Root\Motorola\rpFiles\" coresponding to phone models. Extract repair packs to created folders, and You're ready to work.

Since procedure is not same for LTE2 and LTE phones, bellow is explanation:

- LTE2 Phones (V360, L7SLVR, V3R, V3i, V235)

PDS Repair is done in one step. Simply connect phone with TP to Box, remove the TP and start "Motorola\Repair\PDS_Repair.ubs" .
The box will detect the phone, and ask You to select repair file. Press "Enter" key to enter browser menu, and select needed file.

The box will boot the phone, and perform repair.
After this step phone is repaired. You might need to reflash it if it shows "Code corrupt" or some other error.

- LTE Phones (U6, L2, L6, V190, V3, TRIPLETS, etc)
PDS Repair is done in two steps. depending on phone model, You might need to use test point. Here is procedure for L2/L6/V190 :

Connect phone PCB to box, with TP procedure. Navigate to "Motorola\Repair\PDS_Repair.ubs" and execute it .
Box will ask You to select repair pack, confirm with enter key and navigate to needed file.
After first step, Box will ask You to reconnect phone. Do NOT use test point at step 2, simply connect phone PCB to box and press enter.

After these two steps, PDS is repaired, and now You need to reflash phone firmware using RSD and 1FF file from support.

We will add remaining models with time, if someone has urgent need, please ask us to hurry up. :)

but after i connect the usb connector, my computer cant access the phone, after 5 minute, my phone is shutdown...! coz. battery low to program..!
i dont know why.. after i charge the battery...! always same things..

but for your information, i came to service center of motorola, they told me that my IC Flash need to be change, coz is broken.! if i change it, i must pay about $400,00. coz my error message, show up after i failed to flashing..! can u help me.. please..!

One more question - I'm also trying to repair the PDS on a V3iTunes. I fist put the v3i tunes RP file in the RP folder on the flashdrive. I Test Point and then connect phone to box. It shows phone info and says "press any key." When I press any key the phone says "file not found"

What am I doing wrong?

I think it's a problem connectiong TP to ground. I hope you perform the operation correctly. Connect cable to the phone and box. Then connect TP to ground, then insert battery and now press any key.

hy,box have limit to 8 caracter.
verify if your file name is no long that 8 caracter(pds_repair.ubs have 10 caracter).
@ press any key in the box not in the phone.
@ conect TP it's same for other box,or for other motorola program.
for safety don't conect display,conect only phone's pcb.
for ultima don't now(must be same),but for SC don't use repair(13+14),use normal flash cable for repair pds.
Batery must be charged full.

i'am have SC and now ultima-box,and i'am use more ultima.
change LP is more simple in ultima with new model.
and after motorocker,probably ultima become very good.
SC is good now for old motorola(ultima don't support it).

good night I am solved the subject of account restricted at the moment. For legija the administrator I do not understand 1FF cases out.

Why is so few files for PDS Repairing files in turbo-support?!??
I need it Urgent, E398, E1, V3i, V3i i-Tunes, L6, and many others... :(

smart-clip repairing PDS by online, yes it is su*k. but at least they can repair PDS all type of phone that they claim they support that model.
what I'm trying to say is, they don't need the repair PDS files to release first before they can do a Rpair PDS procedure.

com on Legija do something about it. or at least at the turbo-support, it should be available all Rapir PDS files for all type motorola phone that your box is supported.

in your mem stick "x" is your drive letter of your mem stick..

MotoRocker CAN NOT REPAIR PDS; I try it with motorola E398 R372 with Bootloader 07.D0, why????? :confused:

Do not press "connect" in Rocker. Just press "repair".

:confused: I repaired a RazorV3 with motorocker , then wrote the R374_-_GNPO_11_RFDI--- file, then R374 fullflash, the phone now power up, but can`t find any networks... (no service).
What did I do wrong? or how could I recover it?

ok I flashed V500 with Motorocker with TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.45R_32MB_FULLFLASH, after that try to repair with Ultima - phone not power up.
But after flashing fullflash with Flashbackup its repaired with Ultima ok!!!

Use Motorocker repair function... you can´t use PDS from other phone.

It is unic for every phone.
Othervise use Repair function, it will repair PDS.
