Test points, Unlock manuals

1. Prepare test point cable with needle and crocodile clamp first, like on this picture :

2. Disassemble phone, and take back cover, like on picture:

3. Place PCB into back cover, and connect crocodile clamp to GND, like on picture:

4. Connect TP needle to resistor on PCB, like on picture:

http://www.ultimabox.com/tp/v3x.jpg

5. Instert battery, with TP connected ,

6. Disconnect TP

7. Connect USB cable to Box, and start Unlock script,



Box shall report VID&PID, send boot, and report "Unlocked Ok" .
If box cannot detect the phone, You will have "Waiting for device" status.
Repeat operation from step four.

Ok, just checked service documentation.
V235 is LTE2 based model, should be unlocked without problems if it has Intel flash chip.

If it has other flash chip, i DO NOT recomend unlock attempt, cause it might end with dead unit.

I just wanted to give congratulations for this update and one question quite interesting...

Could be possible to release some kind of hardware that could detect when the TP is connected at the right place?Cause could be interesting in order to spend low time removing shields, not in all models but this one it's quite easy I think and could be interesting.

I spent a lot of time removing shileds, until I bought a mini drill. I had a broken, V360, I made some practice, makeing holes on it ( you can use a dead 535 alcatel too, for example :) ) , and makeing tp on motorolas is childeren's play now. I unlock a V360 (starting removing screws, and finishing with assembleing it ) in max 15 minutes, but rather 10. Worths the try.

I know but my costumers hate to lost warranty :S I think I will ad the water prove sticky into the hole and the problem will be solved but I still thinking that Ultima will release some kind of update.

UltimaBox can unlock all LTE and LTE2 based phones, no mater of bootloader or fw version.

Only what maters is flash chip type - if it hapens to be some new introduced by motorola again, the Box will refuse to unlock it.

Ofcourse, LTE2 phones have to be done via test point.

I've saved it with SC in .pds(security area) & full flash in .smb 48 Mb

As noticed lately, there is new L6 phones with diferent flash chip (flash id 0020-880E) hence old test point will not work.
The good news is, these phones dont require cutting :)

Thanks to GSMuy , we have tested and confirmed unlock Motorola V195.

The test point photo is atached. (forgive us for bad quality, but it will do the job :) )

The phone is LTE based, so to unlock it You have to start "LTE_Unlock.ubs" from menu.

legija, some guys are doing the L6 unlock without TP, they have a flash unbranded/unlocked (original by Motorola Latinoamerica :D :D )
How much money you can pay for this working flash ;) ;) :confused: :confused:

I have just bought a second hand Motorola V235 and is locked to Orange. When I switch the phone on it requests a subsidy code. Can anyone advise me how I can unlock the phone to use a sim from another operator.

TP Pic is wrong. I have tried to unlock this phone but TP doesn't work. I have tried another point and it worked like a charm. I am uploading the TP pic that I have edited.
